The Marina Market is hosting a huge family-friendly Craft Fair all weekend

It’s incredible what Cork’s artisans create with their hands.
And if it’s been a while since you got a good look at the latest craft techniques and materials, there’s a lovely low-key way to check them out this weekend.
With a diverse line-up of over 79 workshops and exhibitions, Cork Craft Month will see master classes, artist talks, trails, and demonstrations, all available to explore throughout the month of August.
If you’d like to get a feel for what’s ahead, the full 2023 programme will be unveiled this weekend at the opening Craft Fair in the Marina Market.
You can pop down to Ballintemple from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, July 29th, and Sunday, July 30th to catch a showcase of some of the best in contemporary Irish craft, along with music, an epic choice of coffee and lunch spots and plenty of fun for kids.

“There’s a great buzz at the market making it well worth a visit,” said Board Chair Mary Palmer.
“Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work with an extraordinary range of materials and techniques. During Cork Craft Month you’ll see objects which have been cut, formed, carved, spun, felted, stitched, printed, forged, turned, woven, dyed, constructed, fired, and finished.”
