The first ever Espresso Martini Festival is happening right here in Cork

By Yay Cork October 30, 2019October 30, 2019

This might be the most excited we’ve ever been about a cocktail event.

Ireland’s first ever festival dedicated to the glory of the Espresso Martini is happening right here in Cork City later this month… and tickets are free.

Combining all things chocolate, coffee and booze (perfection!) Espresso Martini Fest will take place at MONK and The Franciscan Well Brewpub on Cork’s North Mall on November 22nd and 23rd, 2019, with an entire weekend of workshops, demos, tastings and coffee brewing tutorials to check out.

I mean, it’s practically guaranteed we won’t sleep for a week afterwards but it’ll be totally worth it.

Here’s what to expect…

Run in collaboration with Three Fools Coffee, the Grand Parade coffee slingers have teamed up with MONK’s mixologists to produce a once-off Espresso Martini menu, paired with chocolates from local chocolatier, David from the English Market.

And there’s more; for the first time, MONK will be brewing their very own coffee stout.

Other drinks on the go throughout the festival will include Irish coffees, nitro coffees and hot chocolates, with plenty of Pompeii pizza on hand to fight off any hunger pangs!

Incredibly, Espresso Martini Fest is entirely free to attend. All you have to do is register your interest on Eventbrite here.
