It’ll be a slick new addition to the Cork hotel scene.

The Dean Cork has finally confirmed an opening date for its Horgan’s Quay hotel… and it looks like it could be welcoming guests well before Christmas.

The hotel looks set to open in November after the timeline was confirmed by The Dean’s new Head of Sales, Colette Walsh on social media.

“Yesterday marked the start of a new chapter in my career.” she tweeted.

“Absolutely thrilled to join The Dean Cork as Head of Sales. Such an amazing and exciting opportunity to join the hotel in this pre-opening stage. The Dean Cork will open in November 2020. A wonderful addition to Cork city!”

The Dean will provide a new spot for meet-ups with Sophie’s at The Dean, a rooftop bar, restaurant and terrace that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with a popular brunch menu on the weekends.

Bookings can now be made for stays from December onwards with rooms available from €150 per night for the Super Room (including Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, Marshall AMP, Nespresso Machine, Smeg Mini Fridge and fully stocked Irish Munchies tray) to €870 per night for The Penthouse, which boasts two huge bedrooms, two bathrooms, Mega beds, super blast power showers, freestanding baths and a treasure trove of other goodies.
