Fancy running away to the circus?

Cork Circus Factory is inviting everyone to do just that (for one night only, mind) in a fundraising effort to help them cover their eye-watering insurance for the coming year.

The group is holding a circus-themed pub quiz hosted by Tom Campbell at An Spailpin Fanach on South Main Street, Cork on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 in an effort to help meet the whopping €20k bill.

The rules are simple: Come clown around in costume and you get extra points.

Located on the Centre Park Road, Circus Factory is Cork’s only dedicated training space for physical performers. The organisation provides a place for all disciplines of circus to train as well as workshops in specific physical skills and regular weekly adult and youth classes in aerial and ground-based skills.

As well as the usual competitive quiz fun there will also be a raffle for some decent prizes on the night and all funds raised will go directly to Cork Circus Factory who, in their own words, “have an astronomical insurance bill to pay”.
