We love a good rummage in a stack of books.

And if you like a bargain, the Rebel Reads Mega Book Sale this weekend is where you’ll find a treasure trove of titles to choose from for just a few quid apiece.

Rebel Reads has gathered more than 2,000 new donations since their last sale and the whole collection will be up for grabs on Sunday, February 25th from 11am to 4pm in Unit 02 in the Marina Commercial Park in Ballintemple.

“Everything is nice and cheap!” they told us.

“If you’d like to help out running the sale get in touch, new volunteers are always welcome!”

The venue is also the location for the Cork Anarchist Library Project, a monthly meeting of anarchist and left-leaning libertarians from Cork and the surrounding areas.

The next meeting, scheduled for March, will revolve around the theme ‘Anarchists against Fascism / the Far right’. If you fancy taking part you can bring yourself and a book or two to Rebel Reads Bookshop at 7pm on Tuesday, March 12th.
