Trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
If you’re already eating seasonally and carrying a keep-cup for coffee stops, now you can keep up the good work when you need to upgrade your glasses.
Specsavers’s new ReWear collection, part of the brand’s drive to be more sustainable, has now arrived on Opera Lane. Each frame is carefully crafted and partially made from five recycled water bottles and bio-based materials.
“Now more than ever our customers are looking for frames that lessen the impact on the environment and ReWear helps our customers make a more positive choice when it comes to their eye wear.” a Specsavers spokesperson told Yay Cork.
“The colour palette is driven by rich earthy tones and nature-inspired shades. You will see variations of dark plum and soft berry tones culminating in the ladies frames, and ocean blue, moss green and calming clay tones lead the colour palette across the men’s styles.
“The materials used in the frames have been certified by the Global Recycled Standard.”
ReWear is available at Specsavers Opera Lane now, with ‘two for one’ available from €129.
