Sourfest beer festival to return to Cork later this month

Anyone feeling thirsty?
After taking a hiatus last year (three guesses why), Sourfest is returning to Cork’s Bierhaus later this month!
Having started in 2017, this year’s beer festival will be the Bierhaus’ fourth. The venue is yet to confirm which beers from which breweries will be on offer, but in the past the festival has boasted a range of draughts from across the world.
The event is set to take place later this month, between September 23-26th. Previous iterations of the festival have included events such as food/sour beer pairing tasting events, live music and special offers such as additional stamps on your loyalty card for trying sour beers.
On a normal night, the Bierhaus boasts over 220 beers, including 24 rotating guest taps — so we imagine the selection at Sourfest will be a sight to behold.
Situated on Popes Quay, the bar was voted 3rd best in the world in 2007 by Scooper Gen, and has featured in the McKenna’s Guide Best in Ireland every year since 2013.
More details will be posted here when available.
