Somebody left a lovely message for doctors and nurses on the gates of CUH

Every kindness matters.
And when you’re battling Covid-19 on the frontline in Ireland’s hospitals, you find little joys wherever you can.
Cork University Hospital staff nurse Nora O’Neill got in touch with Yay Cork to tell us how one small act of gratitude made her shift at work a little lighter.
Arriving at work today, Nora noticed a carefully crafted pink heart-shaped sign with ‘thank you’ drawn in the centre.
“I’m a staff nurse at CUH and saw this today and it has made me so happy please post this, as these lovely people need to be acknowledged and thanked,” she told us.
We couldn’t agree more.
