Located in the historic 300-year-old Winthrop Arcade in Cork City, The Best of Buds has long been drawing us into their stunning flower shop with heaving window displays and arrangements at the Winthrop Street entrance.

Now there’s a new reason to visit; the store has taken over the premises facing their florist HQ and filled it with beautiful boho furniture and accessories.

Owner Carole Horgan has chosen a utterly covetable selection of homewares, all artfully displayed inside the shop’s picture windows.

The lighting selection is small but expertly picked; industrial lamps glow from every corner and whether it’s a statement piece or a small addition you’re after, these will fit the bill.

There’s baskets filled with affordable rugs (the quickest fix for a dull floor space) and shelves heaving with French Mathilde M candles, home fragrances and diffusers.

Comfy sofas, eclectic cushions and armchairs are selling like hot cakes (the enormous orange embroidered chair pictured here already has a happy new owner) but there’s more stock on the way.

There’s armfuls of hydrangeas for filling up vases and a cute assortment of little gifts available too.
