Send your budding botanists to Gardening Camp in Carrigaline this Easter

Attention, parents.
If your little one prefers planting seeds to screen time (the truth is, most of them do), this might just be their dream Easter break.
Stonewall Gardens in Carrigaline is hosting an Easter Fun Gardening Camp with a wholesome, hands-in-the-soil twist — and it’s already shaping up to be a hit with Cork’s green-fingered families.
Running from Monday, March 30th, from 10am to 2pm each day, the three-day camp (€129.68, booking here) promises plenty of dirt, plants and good old-fashioned outdoor fun.
The vibe? Relaxed, creative and refreshingly unplugged.

Kids can expect hands-on planting projects, playful garden activities and “a surprise or two” along the way. Whether they’re total beginners or already correcting your watering technique at home, the camp is designed to let them dig in, learn something new and have a laugh while they’re at it.
Organisers say it’s all about getting outside, getting messy and “growing memories together” — which sounds like the kind of Easter energy many city parents can get behind.
A few practical bits: it’s a three-day camp, a registration form must be completed after booking, and campers need to bring a packed lunch along with suitable outdoor gear (this is Ireland, after all). Family discounts are available, too — handy if you’ve more than one budding botanist at home.
Fresh air, muddy knees and something green to bring home? We’ll take it.
