Semolina is the Italian pop-up to hit up for lunch on Paul Street this week

Wednesday is a good day for a treat.
And if you fancy breaking up the week with a delicious lunch, Cork’s new Fifth Quarter is the spot to head for.
Authentic Italian roving restaurant Semolina is popping up in the City Centre for one day only on Wednesday, July 30th from 12pm until 2pm.
Chef Marco, who hails from Emilia Romagna in Italy, is a favourite at the busiest Cork farmer’s markets, and Semolina has a fine reputation for incredible classics, including carbonara, amatriciana and tagliatelle bolognese, as well as exciting specials such as beetroot tagliatelle with pear, gorgonzola, walnut and honey or fusilli with courgettes, rocket pesto and almond cream.

Every piece of pasta they serve, from the filled ravioli to the cappelletti and the pillowy gnocchi is hand made using organic flour and wholemeal semolina.
If that isn’t a good excuse for lunch al fresco this Wednesday we don’t know what is.
