Met Éireann is predicting temperatures of up to a balmy 27C across Munster today as summer 2020 finally begins in earnest.
According to the national forecaster, it will be dry and mainly sunny today with temperatures “ranging between 20 and 24 degrees and as high as 27 degrees possible in isolated spots where the longest spells of sunshine develop”.
Tonight will be dry with clear skies and lowest temperatures of between 11 and 13 degrees and tomorrow, Thursday is looking good too, with forecasters predicting a warm day with plenty of summer sunshine.
“It will be dry and sunny widely and winds will be light to moderate from a southeast direction, locally fresh. Temperatures will be 25 degrees in the afternoon widely, typically reaching 20 degrees at the coasts.” said Met Éireann.
