You can drop in and say goodbye this weekend.
Kinsale coffee shop Wild + Tame is closing its busy trailer on the bridge, but fear not fans… the bricks-and-mortar café in the town is still open for all your caffeine requirements.
Opening the trailer three years ago was the realisation of a long-held dream for owner Hannah Barrett-Byrne.
“After almost three incredible years our time on the bridge has come to an end.” she posted on Instagram
“It’s our final weekend on the bridge this weekend 27th and 28th of Jan. What was once a dream became a reality in the horsebox for Wild + Tame.
“I wrote in my notes on 20.06.20 ‘ I will have my own coffee business soon’. I had no idea what to expect but to say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. It has been the most amazing journey and the most rewarding job ever ever ever.”

“I’ve met so many people along the way, we’ve had first dates, reunions, a bride on her wedding day, solo dates, family gatherings, dogs so many dogs, the list goes on…”
Hannah thanked all her loyal customers for helping her to get the business off the ground, with a special mention for one longtime supporter: “I feel like I’m at a wedding lol, but I have to say a very special thanks to the roadie (my Dad) who does all the little and not so little jobs for Wild+Tame.
“We had seen so many horse boxes back in 2020 I was done looking but the roadie knew this one was the one. I guess Dads do know best.”
Swing by the shop in Kinsale town on Market Street from next week on.
