Ryanair has cancelled 24 flights to Portugal, Italy, Greece, France and Spain after a quarter of their 350 Irish pilots voted for a second round of strike action on Friday, July 20th.
The 24-hour strike will go ahead after Ryanair management failed to reach an agreement with trade union Fórsa regarding holiday allocation, promotions and transfers among pilots.
In a rather salty notice posted on Twitter, Ryanair accused the pilots of pursuing a set of demands ‘which they don’t understand and can’t explain’:

All passengers who were due to travel on this Friday’s cancelled flights will have received an email or text message with details of how to obtain a refund.
