Resale Therapy: Shop pre-loved fashion over Jazz Weekend coffee on Opera Lane

Brought to you by Opera Lane.
Sounds like the perfect day out to us.
Vision Ireland is teaming up with Starbucks to present a unique fusion of fashion and coffee during the Cork Jazz Festival, introducing the Pre-Loved Showcase at Starbucks in the Queen Anne Building on Cork’s Opera Lane.
Set for Thursday, October 24th, from 10am to 3pm, shoppers will be invited to sip and shop from a curated selection of Vision Ireland pre-loved clothing, accessories, and footwear, all whilst enjoying their favourite Starbucks coffee.
Whether you’re after a grande or venti, you can browse through and buy sustainable fashion finds, including designer and vintage items.
“We are delighted to be working with Starbucks to bring our pre-loved fashion beyond the confines of our stores,” said Martha McDermott, Corporate Product Relationship Manager at Vision Ireland.
“Choosing to shop sustainably with us helps dramatically reduce CO2 emissions and waste, all while supporting our services that empower individuals who are blind or vision impaired across Ireland.”
With 95% of donated items recycled or sold for reuse, Vision Ireland is a leader in sustainable fashion, diverting 410 tonnes of material from landfills this year alone.
Early birds get the goodies
The first 50 customers will receive special goodie bags, making the hunt for that perfect piece even more thrilling. Shoppers are also encouraged to bring along their own items for donation, with convenient drop-offs available on-site.
All profits from the Pre-Loved Showcase will directly fund Vision Ireland’s frontline services, which include assistive technology access, rehabilitation training, and social inclusion programs.
