The SpitJack on Washington Street is once again pulling out all the stops for Pancake Day on February 13th with a tantalising menu of limited-edition goodies for the occasion.
Running from Monday, February 12th until Friday, February 16th, the star of the menu is The Thank Crunchie It’s Friday, which features honeycomb, toffee sauce, and chocolate ganache, all folded into a light and fluffy crepe-style pancake.
It’s melty, gooey, chocolatey perfection.
They’ll also be doing a Peanut Brittle and Caramel flavour, a Banoffee, and a Cinnamon Apple.
And if you prefer your pancakes with a savoury twist (or you like a dinner course before your dessert pancake) you can plump for the Buffalo Chicken (€14.99) with salt and pepper rotisserie chicken, The Spitjack hot sauce, a fried egg, sour cream, spring onion and chilli.
