They’re taking bookings via Instagram.
And while tables are limited, the good news is that ORSO, the tiny restaurant with a big heart, is the latest city spot to re-open for dinner in Cork city this weekend.
Thanks to the pedestrianisation of Pembroke Street, you can now soak up the summer sunshine over your ORSO meal alfresco.
Their stylish new blue umbrellas and wooden tables offer some extra space for diners while adhering to social distancing regulations. Added bonus: the street has never looked better.
If you’re lucky enough to nab a seat (you can chance a walk-in too if you’re passing) there’s a new menu in store, as well as the usual choice of house cocktails, wine and beer. The restaurant fully caters for vegans and vegetarians and many dishes are gluten-free.
If you can’t wait to get in, they’re starting with two dinner sittings, one at 7pm and one at 9pm on Friday night and Saturday night – pop them a DM on Instagram to book.
In the meantime, you can stop by for breakfast or lunch daily from 9am – try the Beignets with Orange Caramel or the Saffron & Pistachio Cookies (pictured above – utterly delish) with a coffee.
