Oooh – Cameron Bakery has opened a new outpost in this seaside town

Well, this is marvelous news.
Few things can beat the first bite of a perfectly crisp pain au chocolat as you gaze out over the harbour and watch the boats, and the world, drift by.
And no, it’s not a misty Côte d’Azur memory we’re talking about, but Schull, West Cork, where the boulangers of Cameron Bakery have just opened a new shop.
The French artisans have announced their surprise arrival in the seaside village this week, much to the delight of locals and frequenters of the area.
This will be the fourth installment of the much-loved store, which recently opened outlets in Blackrock and Parnell Place on top of their flagship outlet on Washington Street in Cork City.

Cameron Bakery will be serving up their usual selection of sweet treats such as meringues, specialty cakes, and buns as well as world-class pastries, bread, stuffed croissants, sambos, and freshly roasted SOMA coffee.
So if you can’t get away to the French Riviera this Summer, take a trip down to Schull, enjoy a day pottering about the shops, and pick up a box of baked goodies to demolish with a good book by the ocean.
The new Cameron Bakery is located in the heart of the village in the Courtyard on Main Street, Schull.
