Online marketplace Zazzle, which allows designers and customers to create their own products with independent manufacturers, has announced that it will create 50 more jobs at its European HQ in Cork.
Based on Union Quay, the company already boasts a workforce of 225 people in Ireland. In addition to the 50 permanent positions that will be added over the next three years, between 115 and 130 fixed term contract positions will also be offered.
These positions will be remote, and thus will be open to applications from anyone anywhere in Ireland.
Speaking after the announcement, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Leo Varadkar said: “I’m really pleased to see Zazzle’s plans to expand its European HQ in Cork, creating 50 new jobs over the next three years. These are great jobs for skilled engineers, offering really good opportunities for those working in and around Cork.
“Ireland offers the right conditions for tech firms seeking to grow in the European market and this announcement is yet another example of our success in attracting high-quality investment and jobs. I wish the team every success with this expansion.”
Robert Beaver, CEO of Zazzle, hailed the company’s relationship with Cork, saying: “We value our relationships with the Cork community and are eager to bring on more Ireland-based talent. Our Cork-based Zazzlers are an integral part of our global team.”
