OMG: This fuzzy new baby just arrived at Waterfall Alpaca Farm

We can’t even.
A brand new baby alpaca has been born at Waterfall Alpaca Farm in Drimoleague and his fuzzy little face has us packing our bags for West Cork.
The new arrival was born to mummy, Grace, and daddy, Coco, on a windy day, so the farm’s owners are looking for suitably themed names and they’re asking their Facebook fans for suggestions.

Popular options so far include Rider – from the song Riders on the Storm, Sirocco, Viento (Spanish for ‘wind’) and Zephyr, which means ‘West Wind’.
Neil (derived from the Irish word for ‘cloud’) and Bris, Swedish for ‘breeze’ have also hit the shortlist.
Sir Alpacasworth is in the mix too.

If you can’t wait to meet the new arrival, Waterfall Alpaca Farm has a log cabin where guests can hang out with alpacas to their heart’s content for €75 a night.
Guests are also welcome to lend a hand with farm chores so bring a pair of wellies if you fancy getting stuck in.
