Now you can send your best pal to Doggie Summer Camp
It’s a dog’s life.
Pampered pooches in West Cork will be dropped off en masse at Clonakilty Showgrounds next week to take part in a Doggie Summer Camp.
Run by Karen’s Doggie Care and Clonakilty Dog Academy, the five-day event promises that lucky doggos will enjoy hours of carefully organised fun and games, whiling away the hours playing fetch, learning new tricks, playing hide and seek, and clambering around an obstacle course.
Dancing dogs will enjoy a doggie disco and later, the gang will cool off with a pool party.

It’s the ideal reward for very good boys and girls (and a clever way to encourage good behaviour for furry troublemakers).
Treasure hunts, puzzle and treat time, and nap time will ensure all canine campers are returned to their humans happy and tired at the end of the day.
Doggie Summer Camp takes place in the Showgrounds in Clonakilty from July 31st to August 4th, 10am to 3pm. You can book your furry friend in for one day (€30) or reserve the full week by contacting Karen on 086 053 8555.
