Now that most of us are working from home again, a Cork baker has come up with a way to bring a little joy to someone’s elevenses… even if they’re taking five solo.
Cork catering company Roots Kitchen has launched tasty a trio of €20 Tea Break gift boxes that can be posted nationwide.
Place an order online and your lucky giftee will open up a surprise box stuffed with either six mouthwatering peanut butter cookies and four cookie stuffed brownies and a box of Barry’s Tea or Cortado Coffee.
We tried them and trust us, they’re outrageously delicious.
There’s even a healthy option with green tea, peanut cacao balls and honey butter flapjacks and everything is expertly wrapped and packed so it arrives on your giftee’s doorstep looking like it just left the oven.

“As working from home is here for a while longer, I thought it would be lovely to bring this box out so friends/employers/family etc. can send them nationwide to remind loved ones to take five and enjoy a cuppa and nice treat,” says Roots owner Donna O’Driscoll.
