Now you can get an excellent coffee with your stroll on the Marina

Good news, Blackrock folk.
Now you can team your daily stroll along the newly pedestrianised Marina with an excellent coffee and a local pastry, enjoyed al fresco.
If the scenic walk is within your 5k travel limit (20k by Monday, all going well), Cortado Coffee’s slick black coffee wagon is waiting at The Lee Rowing Club to ensure you are adequately caffeinated.

Cortado Coffee launched last year, opening a hatch in Navigation Square in the city, which they hope will re-open soon. After weeks of uncertainty, this week they took to social media to thank their customers for their support:
“There have been highs and there have been lows (mainly being closed for the last 9+ weeks!) but we have learnt so much and made so many friends along the way,” said owners Alan and Michelle Cashman.
“The past few months have been a massive learning curve for us all, so challenging yet strangely rewarding, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has supported us from the very bottom of our hearts, we have been blown away by your reaction to our coffee, it has been incredible… can’t wait to get going again as soon as possible!”
Cortado is now open seven days a week on the Marina, serving from 8am to 4pm.
