Now you can get a guided tour of the Crawford’s nude art exhibition

No giggling down the back.
This week Cork art lovers and the just plain curious can take a free guided tour of the exhibition Naked Truth: The Nude in Irish Art at the Crawford Art Gallery.
The exhibition gathers together over 80 works to examine the rich history of the depiction of the naked and the unclothed body in the work of Irish artists.
The tour begins at 2pm on Saturday, August 16th (no booking necessary) and participants will visit the work of Francis Bacon, James Barry, Amanda Coogan, Dorothy Cross, Robert Fagan, Mainie Jellett, Dragana Jurišić, and Brian Maguire.
If you can’t make the tour, don’t fret; The Nude in Irish Art will be available to view at The Crawford until October 28th.
