The best things come in small packages.
And now you represent the Rebel County no matter where you go in the world by wearing a teeny, tiny piece of Cork on your lapel.
Notes to Cork has teamed up with enamel artist Martha Hegarty to produce a trio of beautiful pins featuring local landmarks.
The choice of collectible pins, a bargain £10 each, includes St Luke’s Toll Booth, the Goldie Fish and Peg Twomey’s Shop. Each one comes with a backing card and a note explaining the history and relevance of the location.
For instance, order the Peg Twomey’s Shop pin and you’ll receive a card that reads as follows:
“This is a note from me to you,
To tell you a bit about me.
The variety of life has come through my doors,
An Emporium of goods.
I’ve heard all the Laughter and talk,
The Gossip and plans.
Deal of the week I promise,
Peg Twomey’s Shop”
Each pin in the series is available to buy online at marthahegarty.com and in person at the Notes to Cork pop-up shop until December 23rd, 2021 at 43A Douglas Street, Cork, open Tuesday to Saturday 1pm-7pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
