Need help with puppy training? This charity workshop will teach you some ‘walkies’ basics

New puppies are a bundle of fun.
They can also be astonishingly destructive if they don’t get enough exercise so regular walks are vital if you want to stop your new furry friend from ruling the roost.
If you need a little guidance on the basics of successful strolling, Irish Guide Dogs’ Munster Puppy Raising Supervisor Rosemary O’ Keeffe is hosting an online Zoom tutorial on Wednesday, November 25th at 6pm.
For a €10 donation to the charity’s incredible work, Rosemary will give puppy parents a primer in the following topics:
- How to select appropriate walking equipment.
- How to achieve loose lead walking.
- The three most common lead work problems (pulling, stopping and reactivity) and why they happen.
Afterwards, there will be a Q&A session when you can ask Rosemary for advice on any of your leash walking woes.

Whether you are just starting leash training your puppy or you have a dog who pulls, barks or just won’t walk on the lead, this is the webinar for you.
To register, make a minimum donation of €10 here and you will receive a link to the webinar.
