With the second weekend of strict social distancing measures on the way, Met Éireann is predicting temperatures of up to 15C across Munster in the coming days.
Of course, visits to popular parks and beaches are out, but there’s never been a better time to throw open the windows or get busy prepping the garden for spring.
Today will be dry over most of Munster, with the morning’s mist clearing to reveal some sunny spells and highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with light southerly breezes.
Thursday will be mainly dry with bright or sunny spells too. It will become cloudier later in the day with a few spots of drizzle, but highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees are expected.
Friday will be mainly dry and sunny spells bringing the temperature up to around 13C. It’s set to turn cold on Friday night with lowest temperatures of between 2 and 5 degrees, but Saturday will be mainly dry and sunny too.
“Saturday night will be very cold with a sharp frost in many areas.” reports the national forecaster. “Lowest temperatures of -1 to 2 degrees.”
