McDonald’s is about to launch a Tiramisu McFlurry and we can’t be trusted not to eat it for lunch

We had great plans to turn over a new leaf this week.
But after a weekend of bank holiday excess, the sugar cravings are real. And now McDonald’s has gone and announced one of their most tantalising new dessert additions in ages.
Launching across Ireland and in all Cork Maccy Ds on Wednesday, June 8th, the Tiramisu McFlurry is a little taste of Italy handed in your car window at the drive-thru.
Soft dairy ice cream swirled with chocolate flavoured biscuit pieces, and a luxurious coffee-and-chocolate flavoured sauce, it’s part of the new McDonalds Italian Summer Menu, which will be available until July 26th, 2022.
The new menu also features the Italian Stack (two beef patties, mozzarella, crispy onions, a rich tomato sauce, lettuce and a smooth cheese sauce all served within a freshly toasted tomato and herb style bun) and the return of the Mozzarella Dipper; cheese coated in breadcrumbs and served with a smooth salsa dip.
And there’s more; once we’ve all had our fill of la dolce vita, the restaurant is saying hola to a Spanish Summer Menu, which you can order from July 27th until September 6th.
The new addition of McDonald’s Halloumi Fries is set to be a firm favourite; coated in a light batter and served with a rich tomato dip, they’re ideal for dunking.
Basically, summer is here and the diet is cancelled. We’ll try again in the autumn.
