This might be the perfect gal pal getaway.
Galz Gone Wild and Warrior Botanicals are hosting a weekend of fun, foraging and traditional herbalism this autumn.
Kicking off on September 21st, 2019, the Saturday afternoon will be spent exploring The Lough Hyne Trail, where the group will forage nature’s offerings to use for Sunday’s skincare and herbal potion making workshop.
There will be plenty of time to connect with nature too, with a guided plant meditation and introduction to floral essences before an evening of wood fire pizza, drinks and music in the local town.
On Sunday morning a nutritious breakfast will be served before a day of botanical crafting in Reidín Beatty’s Warrior Botanicals studio in Clonakilty.
You will learn the art of grinding herbs, blending essential oils, and facial scrub making from Saturday’s harvest. In the afternoon the group will make lip balms and learn how to blend and bottle floral essences.
The best bit? Everyone leaves with their very own Warrior Botanicals products.
Tickets (€248 here) include all workshops and hikes, breakfast, lunch and shared accommodation.
