And if you’re on the hunt for reasons to get out of the house, the charming village of Ballinrostig is gearing up for an event that’s set to add a splash of alfresco fun to your Thursday.
On September 7th, the Little Local Fair is back at An Poc ar Buile pub from 6pm to 9pm in association with Feast Cork, promising a delightful fusion of art, craft, food, and the ever-popular clothes swap, orchestrated by Katie from Peach Vintage.
For just €10, you can bring up to five items of clothing you’re ready to part with and give your wardrobe an autumn makeover without putting your hand in your pocket again.

All clothing must be freshly laundered (no undergarments or swimwear, FYI) and all sizes are welcome.
The sun-drenched garden is the perfect setting for a pint afterwards too.
