Christmas is just around the corner (yes, we’ve said it), and there are some exciting wreath-making workshops available to help you unleash your inner elf.
Kickstart the season with some creativity and a touch of hot chocolate-induced merriment:
Field of Dreams, Curraheen
If the idea of creating your own wreath while savouring a cup of hot chocolate and one of Debbie’s famous muffins excites you, Field of Dreams is the place to be. They’re hosting not one, but two Christmas wreath-making workshops on December 1st and 8th, 2023.
They’ve got all the materials covered, but if you have some charming garden finds or ornaments with sentimental value, feel free to bring them along. And here’s the cherry on top: If you can’t make it to the workshop, you can still get in on the fun by picking up a wreath-making kit with full instructions from Field of Dreams. Foli in the Marina Market
Located in the Marina Market, the new and lovely Foli store invites Christmas lovers to embark on a wreath-making adventure.
As the aroma of mulled wine fills the air, participants will immerse themselves in creative mode and add a personal touch to their holiday decorations. It’s the perfect way to create some special holiday sparkle. It’s €75 to make your own wreath and you can book online here.

Paper Daisy, Midleton
Treat yourself to a luxurious fresh wreath-making workshop at Studio Five in Midleton. On December 2nd, you’ll be welcomed with a warm drink and festive treats, setting the stage for a morning of creativity and self-care. Tickets are €90 for the workshop.
Under the guidance of Laura Beasley, the owner of Paper Daisy floral design, participants will craft a lush Christmas wreath base using a wide variety of fresh, locally grown evergreen foliage. Then, the real fun begins with a choice of natural accents and luxury trimmings for the personal touch. And if you can’t get enough wreath-making, there’s also a luxury dried Christmas wreath workshop (€120) on November 18th. You can nab your workshop tickets here.
The Flowersmith Studio, Glanmire
As Christmas draws near, The Flowersmith Studio invites participants to escape to their peaceful courtyard garden and create their very own foam-free Christmas wreath. With foliage, dried flowers, grasses, dried fruit, and pine cones available, each masterpiece will be inspired by nature.
There will also be delicious Christmas-baked treats and hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, tea, or coffee. And a cheery Christmas playlist. There are loads of November and December dates to choose from and the workshops are €110. You can find out more here.
