Made in Cork, these cute light-up snowmen are being sold for a great cause
As the evenings draw in, a little glow of kindness is shining bright in Cork.
This season, the community is invited to take part in Light a Snowman, Lift a Soul — a heartfelt fundraiser in support of Pieta House, whose vital work offers free, lifesaving help to those in crisis.
At the heart of the campaign are charming, locally designed and handmade tea light snowmen, each one crafted with care and creativity. For just €10, you can bring one home — battery tea light included — and help spread light, warmth, and hope where it’s needed most.

“These snowmen aren’t just decorations,” say the organisers at Five Horizons Design. “They’re little beacons of kindness — a symbol that even the smallest light can brighten the darkest night.”
You can find the snowmen on sale from this weekend at The Wildflower Collective in Midleton and at the Benchspace Christmas Market on Centre Park Road this December 12th and 13th.
Every purchase helps Pieta House continue its incredible mission to support mental health and prevent suicide across Ireland. If any Cork City based stockists would like to get their hands on some snowmen to sell, email info@fivehorizons.ie.
