MacCurtain Street has a gorgeous new terrace for dinners al fresco this summer

Greenes has officially unveiled its beautiful new outdoor terrace – and it’s made for long, warm evenings in the city.
If you’ve been looking for an excuse to spend more evenings dining outdoors, they’ve just delivered one, artfully designed by Project Manager David O’Brien and created by RJ O’Brien building contractors with greenery by Lavender Landscapes.
Complete with a water feature, Parisian-style furniture, and a bold black-and-white striped canopy, The Terrace at Greenes is a hidden courtyard oasis that feels a world away from the bustle of the city, despite being just steps from one of Cork’s liveliest streets.
Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, catching up with friends over dinner or simply making the most of the longer evenings while they last, it looks like the perfect place to settle in with a glass of wine and let the evening unfold.

The Greenes team shared the news this week, saying they were “delighted” to finally open the space after months of work, with Hotel Isaacs, builders, landscapers and local suppliers all helping to bring the project to life.
With Cork making the most of every bit of summer sunshine, we’d say this one is about to become a very popular booking.
If al fresco dining is your thing, The Terrace at Greenes deserves a spot on your summer restaurant list.
