We’ll admit it; the cooler weather was nice for a bit.
However, with heatwave conditions about to return all over the country this weekend, we’re quite looking forward to being bathed in sunshine again.
According to Met Eireann, today will be dry in Cork with good sunny spells and top temperatures ranging from 18 to 22 degrees.
Tonight will be cloudy and misty with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but it will be mild and humid with lowest temperatures staying around 12 to 15 degrees.
Friday will start out cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain and drizzle but you can expect that to clear as the mercury begins to rise up to 22C.
The ‘warm and humid’ conditions will remain right through until Monday, with temperatures in the mid-20s.
Better clean the barbecue…
