He’s not one for mincing his words.
Happily Liam Gallagher’s fans turned out in force last night to support him on the stage at Musgrave Park – despite yesterday’s torrential rain.
The singer, who stayed at The Hayfield Manor Hotel after the show, tweeted his gratitude this morning, describing the crowd as “biblical”.

Liam Gallagher and former Oasis bandmate Bonehead kept the crowd singing at a packed gig at Musgrave Park, with a set list that included Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Some Might Say and Roll With It.

Earlier in the evening, the music legend addressed the weather from the stage: “Cork is like Manchester, isn’t it? You could do with a few #*#-in’ arks around here and all, couldn’t you?”
