Learn how to blend autumnal syrups and tonics at the Test Site Project this weekend

Already suffering the September sniffles?
If you’re keen to find a natural way to help relieve all the gross and annoying symptoms of the common winter cold, as well as a variety of other common ailments, then keep this Saturday afternoon free.
The crew at Test Site on Kyrl’s Quay are hosting a workshop where you can spend the afternoon learning from botanist and herbalist Jo Goodyear as she explores seasonal medicine making.
Each participant will get an intro into the basics of seasonal medicines, with a special focus on locally available, native and non-native plant species.
“During this introductory workshop and demonstration Jo Goodyear will prepare autumnal syrups, tonics, teas and balms,” said the Test Site crew on Instagram.
“Participants will learn the medicinal value of locally available, native and non-native plant species.”

The workshop runs from 2pm-4pm and it costs €12 or €10 concession with a special offer in place for people facing financial hardships.
