There’s nothing like some September sunshine.
And Ireland’s Indian summer is continuing today, with temperatures set to hit 23C in some parts of the county.
Met Éireann says Wednesday will be humid “with a mix of cloud and warm hazy sunshine, and variable or light easterly breeze. However, some scattered slow-moving showers will occur too.”
Whilst overnight mist and fog will clear most areas, coastal fog may persist in parts, but top temperatures will range from 20 to 23 degrees Celsius.
There’s another mild and humid night in store tonight with lowest temperatures of between 12 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Any early mist and fog will tend to clear. Humid today with warm hazy sunshine, and light breezes. Scattered slow moving showers too though, especially across the midlands and west, warmest here too. Top temperatures 18 to 23 degrees.https://t.co/9gKN6SVok4 pic.twitter.com/Ddx4SNtD6o

Thursday will also be humid with a mix of cloud and warm hazy sunshine, brightest during the second half of the day.
“Holding dry across most parts, apart from a few well-scattered showers. Top temperatures will range 19 to 21 or 22 degrees Celsius, in light easterly breezes.” say forecasters.
