Irish Rail adds a late-night Heuston to Cork train for Garth Brooks fans
He finally takes the stage on Friday night.
As thousands of Garth Brooks fans make their way to Croke Park for a series of five concerts they’ve been waiting for since 2014, Iarnród Éireann has issued some travel advice for the event.
Firstly, many trains are already sold out, including on Cork and Tralee to Dublin routes.
“Pre-booking is essential on all Intercity routes at irishrail.ie and customers must travel on the specific train booked.” Irish Rail said in a statement.
“Additional late-night Intercity trains will operate with 00:40hrs Heuston to Cork (with connection at Limerick Junction to Limerick) after each night’s concert. These trains must be pre-booked with very limited capacity remaining.
