If, like us, you can’t pass a dog without stopping to say hello, there’s a doggie meet-up happening that we think you should know about.
The Bernese Mountain Dogs in Ireland Facebook group is holding its Munster get-together in Ballincollig Regional Park on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 at 12pm.
Owners will be travelling from all over Cork and further afield so their giant fluffy pets can meet each other and get some exercise – and interested animal-lovers like us are invited to drop by to hand out rubs and belly scratches.

The Bernese Mountain Dog is well known for its suitability as a family dog but they require plenty of walks and a large home to be truly comfortable.
The Munster Meet-Up is a brilliant opportunity to chat to some owners about the breed (or any large dog breed) before making the move to buy or adopt a large breed yourself.
