If you like astronomy, pints and pizza, this is *the* night out for you

Pop this in the calendar.
Ever looked up at the stars and thought, “What’s really going on up there?” Well, you’re in luck.
You can give your brain a little cosmic boost next week while enjoying a tasty craft beer.
If you’re always wondering about galaxies, black holes, or those crazy binary stars, you’ve gotta check out Astronomy on Tap. On Tuesday, March 25th, the Franciscan Well Brewery & Brewpub on the North Mall is turning into a mini space station, hosted by actual astrophysicists.
Yep, real-life experts will be there to chat about all things space. The fun kicks off at 7pm, and you’ll get to enjoy two super interesting talks from Dr Michael Tremmel, Lecturer in Theoretical Astrophysics at UCC, and Dr. Niall Smith, who is a lecturer and Head of Research at MTU, as well as the head of Blackrock Castle Observatory.
It’s the perfect way to spend a spring evening, learning something new and have a good time.
So, grab your mates, grab a pint, and get ready to have your mind blown by the wonders of the universe from 7pm to 9pm on the night.
Each talk will be followed by a Q&A session where you can pose your burning questions and you can book your free ticket here.
