If public speaking gives you hives, this fun Cork group could really help

Feeling a little shy in the spotlight?
Do presentations or public speaking situations make you break out in a cold sweat? If so, then the Cork Toastmasters Club could be the perfect solution for you.
Founded way back in 1967, this friendly and supportive group is one of the first Toastmasters Clubs established in all of Ireland. Their mission? To help you develop your confidence and public speaking skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
No pressure, just progress.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, the Cork Toastmasters Club caters to all levels. Their meetings are designed to be interactive and engaging, offering opportunities to practice prepared speeches, participate in impromptu speaking sessions, and receive valuable feedback from supportive peers. Here, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to become a more effective communicator, not just in professional settings, but also in everyday life.
Best part? You don’t have to commit right away. Their meetings are open to everyone, and you can simply show up as a guest on Tuesday, September 10th at the Metropole Hotel on MacCurtain Street. The meeting starts at 8pm, and the entry fee is €10. Feel free to observe how things work, or if you’re feeling brave, you can even participate in some of the activities.
Ready to find your voice and boost your confidence? You can also contact Grainne, the Vice President for Membership, at 086 6001055 for more information.
