Hup! Shake off the midweek slump with Céilí dancing in Crane Lane

Remember the craic that was had at the school céili?
If you’re keen to relive those raucous nights (or your midweek slump is just getting out of hand and you need an excuse to leave the house), Wednesday nights just got a serious upgrade.
Céilí by the Lee is taking over Crane Lane Theatre on Phoenix Street in Cork city every week to teach you the ancient and noble art of traditional Irish dancing — no experience, no partner, just pure energy, laughter, and a bit of craic.
Each two-hour session starts with the basics, then builds into group dances that will have you spinning, stomping, and laughing your way through the evening.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, sneak in some midweek exercise, or finally figure out how to keep your two left feet in line, this is the place to be.

With a spacious dance floor and a range of refreshments to refuel after all that action, Céilí by the Lee is the perfect mix of culture, fun, and fitness — all for just €5. So grab your friends, put on your dancing shoes (trainers are grand), and see what all the fuss is about. You might just discover your hidden Riverdance potential.
It’s 18+ only — and yes, beginners are more than welcome.
