How about a wholesome weekend glamping with The Happy Pear on Bere Island?

Looking at a busy summer this year?
If you’re already dreading burnout and you suspect you’ll be in need of a break come autumn, then you might appreciate a bit of TLC.
This September, The Happy Pear, a lifestyle and food brand set up by twins, David and Stephen Flynn, has set its sights on Bere Island, partnering with Wild Atlantic Glamping to host an extended retreat with a custom itinerary designed to reawaken the body and replenish the soul.
Famous for their sunrise swims and mouthwatering vegan recipes, the pair are starting each day with a dip in the depths of Bantry Bay followed by a varied programme of experiences throughout the weekend.
Activities will include a dinner, Q&A session, 5km Park Run, mindfulness session, and recipe demos, as well as talks on gut health, group journaling, healthy eating cooking demos, a kayaking trip to explore the wild waters of Bere Island, and campfire chats.
“We are so excited to team up with The Happy Pear to host this amazing retreat on Bere Island,” said the Wild Atlantic Glamping crew on Instagram.
“This is an exclusive retreat with limited places so each guest can experience island life with Dave and Steve, and enjoy a weekend of sunrise swims, nourishing plant-based meals, mindfulness, kayaking, cooking demonstrations, and talks.
“Accommodation, meals, and activities are all included so you just need to get yourself to the island and we will look after everything else.”
