Homes in these Cork southside streets can expect water supply disruptions this week

Fill up a bucket or two.
Irish Water has alerted residents in the southside of Cork city that they will likely experience a disruption to their water supply on Thursday evening.
According to Irish Water, “New connection works may cause supply disruptions to Togher Road, Tramore Road, Vicars Road, Clashduv Road, Connolly Road, Pouladuff Road, Pearse Road, Glasheen Road and surrounding areas in Cork City.”
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of these works, which are scheduled to take place from 6pm on August 6th until 6am on August 7th, 2020.
Residential water supply may take up to three hours to fully return to all affected properties after the work is completed.

Residents in the areas listed have also been advised that there may be some discolouration in the water for a time after it returns.
