Hollywood star Bill Murray has been strolling Cork for ice cream and haircuts

It’s not every day a Hollywood A-lister turns up in Cobh.
But actor Bill Murray rocked up at The Harbour Turkish Barber in the seaside town in search of a trim and a shave over the weekend.
The Hollywood legend, who has been known to crash karaoke nights, slip into random golf games, and pop up at strangers’ weddings, has been bringing his trademark unpredictability to various Cork spots in recent days.

Murray has been travelling around Cork with a camera crew in tow and word has it he may be filming a travel show for the BBC.
Barber Aykut Dayıbaşı of The Harbour Turkish Barber was thrilled to have the Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day legend in his chair:
“It was a true honour to welcome the legendary Bill Murray to our barbershop.” he said.
“An unforgettable experience for all of us!” added Dayıbaşı.
Mr Murray also swung by The Black Pig in Kinsale for a bite to eat and stopped for ice cream and chats at Kinsale’s Good Dairy Company too.
“What an amazing evening we had. Such a lovely man. What a character.” said Good Dairy Company owner Catherine Good.

“He was chatting and joking and in great form. He loved our cluster lights and, of course, our ice cream. He was so generous with his time, spoke in length to Robert and Clara and was so kind to staff and customers.”
“He loved the names KinderMoo and ToffeecaraMoo!”
