When was the last time you spent an entire day focusing on your own happiness?

An upcoming event aims to give Cork women an opportunity to do just that, but there’s a catch; you must be over 35 to join in the fun.

Irish actress and model Vivienne Connolly is on a mission to help women in their forties put work, kids, stress and responsibility to one side for one day and reclaim their joie de vivre with a new event called ‘Evolve With Viv’.

The party, sponsored by Classic Hits 4FM, stops in Cork on Sunday,  September 23rd at the Clayton Hotel Cork City (11am until 4.30pm) with tips, tricks, master classes and discussions on confidence, mental health and mindfulness, make-up, skin and hair.

The fun begins with a tasty breakfast while hair guru Sabrina Hill of Kopper gives everyone a lesson in youth-boosting hair cuts, colours and styles.

Cork make-up artist and curvy model Lola Desmond will focus her masterclass on make-up for the lady over forty.

Later, after lunch and a glass of bubbles, Meraki will be giving free manicures and Hayley Power will advise on how to stay grounded and improve your overall wellness.

As well as a fashion show, there’ll be an array of prizes for best dressed, best social media posts and best panel questions as well as goody bags stuffed with products and vouchers from the likes of Kilkenny Group, Human+Kind, Fran & Jane, Ballymaloe Relish, Clayton Hotel Cork City and more.
