Hit the Crawford this weekend for a free sourdough bread baking workshop

If you didn’t try your hand at baking sourdough bread during the lockdown, it might be the ideal project for the long winter nights ahead… and you can find out how for free this weekend.
Hit the Crawford Art Gallery on Emmet Place on Saturday, October 8th for Our Daily Bread, a bread baking workshop where participants will learn traditional sourdough baking methods using Irish spelt flour that has been milled in the Gallery over the last two weeks.
The workshop is now fully booked but there is still a lot to learn from stopping by and seeing the participants in action.

On Sunday, October 9th, you can swing by for more inspiration at All About Cake, a cake decoration workshop run by Cork Sugarcraft Association.
“Join members to be wowed by a display of their work and try your hand at some of their cake decorating techniques. No booking required!” the Crawford crew told us.
Just the thing to get those creative juices flowing for autumn.
