Hit North Main Street later to try the one cocktail ingredient that will elevate any drink

They jazz up any drink in an instant.
But if you’ve never had the opportunity to sample cocktail bitters, an Irish company will be showing curious Cork folk exactly how to use them later this evening.
Head for Bradleys off-licence and food store on North Main Street at 5.30pm today, Friday, August 18th, for a special in-store tasting led by Mary O’Sullivan of Beara Bitters.
Beara’s delicious range of bitters add aromatics and flavour to alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails – all you need is a few tiny drops to elevate your drink like nobody’s business.
Their Classic bitters, useful as a stand-in for classic bitters that are star anise forward, such as Angostura, is made with a base of organic apple brandy sourced from Highbank Distillery in Kilkenny infused with lemon peel, orange peel, cloves, raisins, gentian, cinchona bark, star anise, cassia, wild cherry bark, allspice, cocoa husk, and vanilla.
They also make a mean Smoked Pear version.
