If a few hours a day organising and selling an intriguing selection of rare books sounds like your ideal situation, one of Cork’s most magical bookshops has an opening.
West Cork’s Inanna Rare Books recently opened a brand new location in Skibbereen, taking over a historic building to create a special marketplace and meeting place for readers interested in art books.
Inanna Modern, the bookshop’s new art department, is housed in The Still Mill in Skibbereen.

The shop recently unveiled a fascinating collection of rare children’s books, currently on display alongside shelves of tomes celebrating works of art, literature, and history as well as some amazing manuscripts and maps.
With visitor numbers growing and a busy tourist season looming later in the year, the owners are ready to expand their team.
“If you are looking for flexi part-time work and are very passionate about books and art, you might be the right person to join our team.” co-owner and book collector Holger Smyth wrote in a social media post.
