Here’s the menu for The Glass Curtain’s new take-home dinner service

It’s gourmet to-go.
If you’ve got a special event or birthday coming up this weekend or you just fancy something fancier than your usual takeaway, set the table: The Glass Curtain has just the thing.
The MacCurtain Street restaurant has been closed for a month in compliance with Covid-19 restrictions, but chef Brian Murray has been working on a way to turn the best of their menu into an experience you can enjoy in your own home during the lockdown… a two-course meal for two for a very reasonable €40.
“Keeping an eye on how many restaurants are innovating across the world and taking ideas from a number of places, we have come up with The Glass Curtain at Home,” Brian told Yay Cork.
“Each week we will offer a new menu which will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. There will be one dinner option each night, which we will prepare in the restaurant for collection. The dish will be finished at home in a few simple steps and we will be giving some instructions and tutorials via our social media channels to create a fun interactive service.”
The Glass Curtain’s wine list and craft beers will also be available at retail prices. Bookings will be taken over the phone until 12 noon on the day.
No-contact service
“It will be a no-contact service with payment taken online or over the phone,” added Brian.
“When the customer arrives at their chosen pick-up slot we will drop their meal kit out to the car. We will also be just running with three staff to maintain safe social distances at all times in the operation.”
